Elliott M. Portman is a seasoned attorney specializing in commercial debt collection in New York State. As the principal of Portman Law Group, P.C., Elliott has dedicated over thirty-five years to representing international and domestic clients in the liquidation of their accounts receivable.  His practice primarily focuses on creditor’s rights and judgment enforcement.  He is renowned for his ethical professionalism and commitment to achieving swift, effective results.  Our methods are firm, but fair.

Elliott’s extensive experience and expertise have earned him a distinguished reputation in the legal community. He serves as Vice President of the New York State Creditor’s Bar Association, the foremost authorityof creditor’s rights attorneys in New York State. Additionally, he is a former member of the Executive Council of the Creditor’s Rights Section of the Commercial Law League of America and a past Chair of the Creditor’s Rights Law Committee of the Suffolk County Bar Association.
